There is a meeting about the Shawsheen River dam project on
Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 8:00pm in the 3rd floor conference
room of the Andover Town Hall 36 Bartlett St., Andover.
Bob Douglas, Conservation Director for the town of Andover and
Gail Ross a member of the Andover Conservation Committee will be
discussing this project with the Ballardvale Historical Commission.

Hope to see you there!

Although the impact of river flow to Washington Park resulting
from this project is assumed to be is minimal (according to
EcoSystems engineering consultants) it is important that we attend
any meeting impacting the Shawsheen River or Washington Park, so
that we remind the powers that be in town that Washington Park
residents are tax paying home owners in Andover

This should be an interesting meeting. At the last meeting with
the Ecosystems people there was alot of discussion about the
Historic significance of the Ballardval Dam and the negative
impact removing the dam could have on the the marshes in that area.
